Hey guys!! It's been a long long week and i'm juz glad that i have some time to rest before another horrendous week of marching. It's juz 1 more week to the actual commissioning parade and as of today i've managed to ask a few of my friends along..haha hope to take pics with them and share this special moment with them.
The last week has been horrible with us marching everyday under the hot sun. It resulted in me having sunburns and worse still, my lips became super chapped and cracked like anything. But i must say that the SSM or sch sergeant major who is in charge of training us for this commissioning parade is very nice to us. Although he is strict and demands standards, he actually cares for us alot and always say lotsa farni stuff although he likes to curse also lar...
"Bloody swine", " sea-flying cockroach" are some of his favourites but his best was when he kept calling us shitheads and that most of us have psychosis. And his definition of psychosis is the sudden rush of shit to the head. Haha it's seriously damn farni lar..Too bad he's going for some course and wun be able to take us next week. I'm afraid our standards would drop because i believe there's no better guy to take us for rehearsals..
Ok anywae on friday we had our ACPC which stands for appointment certificate presentation ceremony. A brigadier general came to present us with our certificates and our swords. Well, we rehearsed for hours but in the end the whole sequence of receiving the sword changed and as a result many pple did it wrongly but nevertheless it was a success. And we had a formal dining-in after that which was a formal dinner. It's quite absurb to be whispering throughout the dinner or to be uber quiet so i juz heck care and continued to talk. I mean common sense should prevail wad. Where got have formal dinner with minimal talking?? Then there's no point in the dinner because all we are learning is how to eat properly and not the entire dining etiquette.
