hmmm...i dun mean this as an offense to anyone..but then sometimes i juz find tt humans are wierd creatures.Do things although they knoe tt it is bad and it wun help in any way. Trying to spite the other party when all they want is attention from the other party. Portraying hatred when all they want is to love and to be loved. And in the end, the other party loses it totally and all hope is lost,literally. I guess humans are indeed wierd. If u feel tt this paragraph is refering to u, then it is. But i miself used to be like that too, tt's y i can relate so well.
So updates for the week! A really enriching 3 days i must admit. On thursday, i volunteered to help out mi fren wif the New Life Kidz Camp. The camp theme was responsibility. Initially, it was extremely difficult to engage the kids in a conversation. But we did find out more bout them and their character thru the activities and the games and soon, they warmed up to us and we all had so much fun together!! The girls from mi group are relly cute and adorable man!! The boys were also veh cute, but most of them were quite un-interested initially until the games began. That's when they became super enthusiastic and volunteered for everything.
hmmm..in mi group, there is cavan, gloria, hui yu, joy, shao lun, zheng yu and edward. Edward was the problem kid. He did not want to participate in anything and was only interested in playing wif his rubber balloon. It was only after the break, when he ate 7 hotdog buns tt he started to have more vitality. Real cute. I relly enjoy working wif kids man...seeing them having sooo much fun!! I tynk i'm gonna serve in the sunbeam church soon..i relly love kids!!
On friday, i met up wif yy and family to play badminton. I guess mi netplay relly improved alot! Had lunch wif them and had to thank her mum for the wonderful hospitality. She treated mi to a meal of dim sum in a high tech dim sum restaurant in junction 8. Following tt i rushed down to play the match wif mi church team, Aflame, against heng hua methodist church's team. The game went well wif us winning 3-0. Unfortunately, i sprained mi ankle in the first half, but continued to play and i scored the 2nd goal of the game when i was moved to the central midfield position.
So unbelievable, a ball was crossed in and 2 big, tall guys were giaping mi in the middle lar. Unfazed and undaunted, i stuck out mi foot to volley the ball in first time and the keeper had absolutely no chance man...tt's the highlight of the day man!! Mi first goal in a field match!! woooohoooo!!
And on sat, i woke up at 7am *grumbles* to help New Life out again. This time, they organised a 3 on 3 basketball tournament for the youths tt stay arouund bukit panjang. There were 16 teams and i was the one hu keeps scores during the game. It went well although there was a team hu contested mi scores. Rushed off straightaway to help out wif some furniture moving and painting. A church fren has left for the mission field wif his wife and 2 sons. So his parents moved into his house and mi and 2 other guys basically haf to move the cupboards and boxes to his house. It's gd training for ns man because before long, i was already aching everywhere...haha
